The quiet beauty of trees in snow. When the sky is filled with snow clouds, light becomes diffuse—softening edges, compressing depth, bringing the distant closer. This atmospheric quality, where space seems to collapse into a shallow plane, creates muted tones and an almost minimal composition. My direct charcoal marks attempt to capture the immediacy of that experience.
